Probably the two most important web locations in the Jeep world are JCWhitney (Everything Jeep) and 4 Wheel Drive Hardware. These two locations supply everything you would need to build a Jeep from scratch… minus the VIN number. I have been ordering parts for anyone who did not already figure it out! =)
Category: VAULT Links
But its true
Urban Legends Reference Pages is a website listing commonly held urban legends. Ranging from the win32.exe hoax to eating pop-rocks and soda. You could stay very busy reading up on social legends.
More Jeep
Web Jeeping is another online used jeep dealer I found and have been looking at. Some other useful Jeep links are Jeep Engines which does performance rebuilding of Jeep engines, and Used Parts (I will let you guess what you can get there.) If anyone knows of some really good online Jeep dealers (that sell CJ’s) drop me a message please.
Talking just fine
Interesting article from acm queue about the relative success of Linux MS office compatibility. Gives a rundown of MS office translation capabilities based on different OS suites in Linux.
Vault KM
Passing along another couple links. First I have made a small change to the site. I have added a web tools sidebar filled with some useful web knowledge tools. They include two mailing list links; one too The mail Archive and the other too Geocrawler. All the links are wonderfully useful and commonly used by myself.
Web History
One of the most useful site I have found on the web is the wayback machine at archive.org. It is a search engine for websites that have been archived by archive.org. If knowledge is power than archived knowledge must be battaries.
Electronic Displays
Display technology is something that has become important to me as of late. Here are some of the vendors selling LED and Diode based display options.

Just posting the links here for future reference.
My name is Bob an I love Jeeps
I love JEEPS! Not those mambee-pambee YJ/TJ valley girl (“I use my 4wd to go over the really big speed bumps.”) Jeeps… no, no, no… I love CJ/MJ Jeeps. I am currently in the market for a pre 1986 CJ7 in fairly good condition. Great place I found is Sport Utility Performance Center . Lots of good Jeeps! Real Jeeps.
Oh hell.. I just found Nethack
(Un?)fortunately I just recently discovered the joys of Nethack. The original RPG. Possibly the greatest game of all time. Actually the version I play is called Nethack Falconseye . Its a OpenGL version that simply translates the ascii to images… thus its 100% identical to Nethack but has pretty graphics (and allows the use of a mouse.) This makes it look a lot like Diablo.
So you ask “why would this be unfortunate?” An unknown USENET poster answers the question better than I can:
Thank you for the latest release of gradewrecker. My GPA just went in the corner and shot itself.
— USENET posting, author unknown
That just about rexplains it! For a good description of why Nethack rules check out this review in the gamespy hall of fame. If I don’t post for a couple of days you now know why.
